‘Water, Wind, Dust, Bread’ to vie at Iranian filmfest Zurich

Iranian documentary ‘Water, Wind, Dust, Bread’ is scheduled to vie at the Iranian Film Festival of Zurich (IFFZ) in Switzerland.

Directed by Mehdi Zamanpour-Kiasari, the documentary has been named among the lineup of films to be screened at the 2022 edition of the event.

‘Water, Wind, Dust, Bread’ is a colorful depiction of the life of two kids named Abolfazl and Setayesh.

Despite all the hardships, the kids are doing their best to live a happy life; a life that is different from others.

The documentary also participated in the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival in the Czech Republic, the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) in the Netherlands, the Children’s Film Festival Seattle in the US, and the MiradasDoc International Film Festival in Spain.

The Iranian Film Festival of Zurich is “a platform for presenting the Iranian culture and tradition and for building a bridge between different cultures by the means of the universal language of art – and especially the 7th art, cinema”, website of the event reads.

The 8th edition of the IFFZ will kick off on May 26 and run until June 1.
